Ukraine Exports Record Volume Of Rapeseed In August
In August, rapeseed exports from Ukraine totalled a record 502,000 tonnes, an increase of 3.8 times compared to the previous month and up 65% compared to August 2007, according to IA APK-Inform`s data.
Figures showed that the Netherlands (148,000 tonnes), Germany (65,300 tonnes), Pakistan (63,200 tonnes), France (39,600 tonnes), Poland (35,600 tonnes) and Hungary (32,800 tonnes) were the main importers of the oilseed.
During the two months of 2008/09 MY, rapeseed exports totaled 634,000 tonnes, up 73% compared to the same period of 2007/08 MY.
