Dollar Declines On Renewed Risk Appetite
The dollar has slumped to multi-week lows against just about every major currency this morning as a renewed appetite for risk re-enters the market.
A story in the FT suggesting that the US could lose it’s AAA credit status hit the greenback, amidst optimism that the global slump might be easing.
The dollar fell to a seven week low of $1.3721 against the euro and a hovers around a cent below yesterday’s 17-week low of $1.5350 against the pound.
