Just looked up peas on the Defra website and found this little known snippet:
"A recent study with growing and finishing pigs concluded that field peas could replace all of the soybean meal in diets fed to growing and finishing pigs without negatively influencing pig performance, carcass composition, carcass quality, or pork palatability."
