CFTC: Much Ado About Nothing?
In what looks like a continued "going throigh the motions" move the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Agricultural Advisory Committee have announced another public meeting for July 29th.
The agenda, according to a notice in the Federal Register is:
I. Convergence and Basis; II. Settlement Prices, Margin Requirement and Credit; III. Agricultural Swaps; IV. Ongoing Research.
Will they actually do anything about the unregulated role of the large funds activities in the markets this time I wonder?
