EU Abolish Set-Aside So What's Next?
With the famously militant French newly installed at the helm of the Presidency of the EU it seems anything could happen.
Day1: Permanently scrape set aside. Done. Next....?
Day2: Allow re-introduction of fishmeal into ruminant rations?
Day3: Stop the US "splash & dash" abuse?
Day 4: Regulate the use of Meat & Bone back into some animal feed?
Day 5: Remove incentives for power stations to burn animal feed and "encourage" them to use other renewable sources instead?
What an exhausting first week at the office for Mr Sarkozy, and then he's got some more work on his plate when he gets home to Mrs Sarkozy!
