Oil World Trims South American Soy Output
Oil World has trimmed its estimates for 2009 soybean production in South America following persistent drought problems for the region.
Argentine production is now seen at 43mmt, similar to the USDA figure last week, down from 44mmt estimated last month, and 46.2mmt a year ago.
Brazilian output has been trimmed 0.5mmt to 57mmt, 3mmt below 2008.
