eCBOT Close/Early Call
Overnight grains closed narrowly mixed on the eCBOT market with soybeans around 3c lower, corn 1-2c easier and wheat 2-4c higher.
Soybeans and corn fell as crude oil stayed under pressure despite OPEC announcing production cutbacks.
Wheat was slightly firmer in a rebound from recent losses as Egypt and Japan entered the tender market.
This afternoon's session could be a quiet one as many investors stay on the sidelines ahead of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's monthly report on Friday.
Early calls are: Corn futures are expected to open 1 to 2 lower; soybeans 1 to 3 lower; wheat 2 to 3 higher.
