Grainfarmers, Centaur Merger Completed
The merger of farmers' co-operatives Grainfarmers and Centaur Grain has been completed after the deal received court approval late last week, a spokesman said on Monday.
The new company, Openfield, expects to handle around 20% of the UK grain market and will be a direct competitor of the Cargill/ABF love-child Frontier.
